PRIVACY NOTICE

 

Which covers,
the types of personal data collected on the Site; and,
the purposes for which this data is collected and used; and,
how users can control the use of their data; and
users’ rights over their data (access, correction, deletion, etc.); and,
whether and how this data is shared with third parties; and,
the security measures in place to protect the data.

In the event of a discrepancy between the French version and the non-French language versions of this Notice, the French version shall prevail.

The Lobbyplace Inc. (“Lobbyplace”) Privacy Notice describes the purposes for which we process information about you and the categories of information we process. Lobbyplace does not sell personal information.

Execution of our contract with you: To create a Lobbyplace account, you must accept the Lobbyplace Terms of Use.

 


1. User Rights

Lobbyplace applies the following rights, regardless of their residence, to all users of its products:

• the right to know what personal data has been collected
• the right to know whether personal data has been shared and with whom
• the right to have access to your personal data
• the right to exercise your privacy rights without discrimination


2. Informed Consent

Your consent to process your information is obtained when creating your account or when you voluntarily provide us with your personal information (for example, via registration forms). We ensure that you are informed of the types of data we collect and the purposes for which it is used. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, simply contact us at admin@lobbyplace.com or follow the instructions provided in the Terms of Use. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.


3. Data retention period

We do not want to keep your personal information if we no longer need it. Therefore, we will only keep it for as long as necessary to perform the actions for which we collected it. When we no longer need it, we will destroy it unless the law requires us to keep it for longer.


4. Types of data collected

Your personal information (obtained through forms, etc.) that we store includes your first and last name, your main address, your email address, and despite us your IP address as well as information about your web browsing, such as the browser used and your language preferences. The IP address and browsing information are collected for technical purposes and not for personal tracking. We also collect, for the time being and for the proper functioning of the site only, your votes and your proposals for ideas, but we are working to anonymize this information.


5. Sharing of data

We will never sell this personal information. We will never share this personal information. We can sell or share general trends at the country, region or city level, but never an individual vote or proposal, or even information that would allow us to guess your vote or proposal.


6. Use of data

We will never use your navigation on the site for marketing or advertising targeting purposes.


7. Purpose of Data Collection

When you provide us with personal information, we use it in accordance with the permissions you have provided. Generally, we use your information to enable us to offer you new products and services and/or improve existing ones and your experience with Lobbyplace.


8. Copyright and Data Deletion

You retain copyright in your content at all times, as well as the right to delete the Agreement you are entering into with Lobbyplace, which will result in the complete deletion of your data, as described in the Lobbyplace Terms of Use, which we encourage you to read at least once as with any product you use.


9. Legal Transmission of Data

We will inform you if your personal information must be transmitted as part of a legal process or if a government requires it, unless we are prohibited from doing so by law. When we receive such a request, we will only disclose your personal information if we believe in good faith that the law requires it. Nothing in this Privacy Notice is intended to limit your right to defend or legally object to the disclosure of your information upon a third party’s request, i.e. this document does not limit your right to object to the disclosure of your personal information in response to a third party’s request, and we will always assist and help you first as best we can.


10. Data Security

Our partners who store your personal information and content on their servers are committed to protecting your personal information once they have obtained it. They implement physical and technical security measures to protect your personal information. If we become aware of a breach of their security or ours (Data Breach Event), we will notify you so that you can adopt adequate protective measures.


11. Policy Modification

We may change this policy. Updates will be posted online. If the changes are significant, we will announce the update through Lobbyplace’s usual channels, such as blog posts. Your continued use of the product or service after the effective date of such changes means that you accept these changes. To keep you better informed, we will post the effective date at the top of the page.
